The East of England P&I Association Ltd provides third party liability cover (Protection & Indemnity) for Shipowners and Managers of commercial ships.  We offer a comprehensive P&I package which can be tailor made to suit the needs of every type of shipowner.  Immediate responses are given and solutions provided in order to promptly deal and resolve the problem that you and your ship are facing.

 The Association also provides FD&D and Hull and Machinery insurance.

 We are a team of skilled P&I and H&M Underwriters, Claims handlers and Technical advisors available 24 hours a day to work alongside our Shipowners clients in order to actively prevent and reduce the level of claims and to provide quick and adequate settlement thereof. Thanks to this effective approach we are able to offer a competitive level of premium. Our worldwide network of P&I Correspondents is available to assist our Shipowners clients in the most remote areas in the world.

Under the direction of the Managers and their representatives are a staff of underwriters, analysts, lawyers and claims adjusters who provide the very wide breadth of expertise required to deal with P&I and marine claims on the Members’ behalf.

Upon receiving an inquiry, our underwriters will contact you with a view to understand your needs and the level of premium that we can offer. To simplify things, the Association will request an application form.  The Association will then revert with a quotation issued in writing to the applicant.
